Oven Baked Tortilla Chips

A close-up image of golden, crispy oven-baked tortilla chips arranged on a platter, paired with a vibrant red bowl of fresh salsa, garnished with cilantro.

These oven-baked tortilla chips are a quick  snack you can easily make at home. With just a few simple ingredients, you’ll have perfectly crispy chips ready to pair with your favorite dips like salsa, guacamole, or hummus. Lightly seasoned and baked to golden perfection, they’re a wholesome alternative to store-bought chips. Ideal for parties, movie nights, or as a guilt-free treat anytime!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 Corn Tortillas (I prefer 5 1/2″)
  • Olive Oil Spray
  • 12 teaspoons salt (or seasoning of choice)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350.

Cut Tortillas: Stack the corn tortillas and cut them into triangles (quarters, sixths, or eighths – I prefer eighths)

Spray and Season: Arrange the tortilla triangles in a single layer on the baking sheet. Spray the top side with olive oil spray. Sprinkle with salt or your preferred seasoning.

Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, rotating baking sheet halfway through, until golden and crispy. Keep and eye on them as they can burn quickly.

Cool and Serve: Let the chips cool for a few minutes to crisp up fully. Serve with salsa, guacamole, your favorite dip, or enjoy plain.

Notes

One baking sheet will hold about 48 chips. I suggest making multiple batches.
